Reflect. Transform. Act.

To Know Christ, and to Make Christ Known

To restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ
The Catechism P855, An Outline of the Faith.

Knowing Christ means we:

  • Continue in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship,
  • in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers;
  • Persevere in resisting evil, and,
  • whenever we fall into sin, repent and return to the Lord;
  • Proclaim by word and example the Gospel;
  • Seek and serve Christ in all persons,
  • loving our neighbor as ourselves;
  • Strive for justice and peace among all people,
  • and respect the dignity of every human being.

  • -The Baptismal Covenant

  • We are also commended to:

    To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom
  • To teach, baptize and nurture new believers
  • To respond to human need by loving service
  • To seek to transform unjust structures of society
  • To challenge violence of every kind
  • To pursue peace and reconciliation
  • To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation
  • To sustain and renew the life of the earth

  • The Church invites us to become persons who:

    • In a society of scarcity; affirm generosity
    • In a fragmented society, cultivate wholeness;
    • In a atomized society, foster relationships;
    • In an inattentive society, harness reflection;
    • Instead of convenience, develop commitment.

    And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:40)

    The Glory of God is a human being fully alive!
